Finite Incantatum was established June 20th, 2013. Because of admin Lucia recently having a baby and the new school year underway, Finite Incantatum had a quick decline in activity. As the months passed, Lucia, with the encouragement of dedicated members, decided it was time to revive FI and bring the fun back into Role Playing.
We offer a variety of boards to role play on, a large selection of in and out of character fun as well as friendly and helpful staff members.
The plot here at Finite Incantatum is as follows:
It has been over twenty-five years since anyone spoke of Voldemort. It has been twenty-five years since the wizarding world and muggle world alike needed Harry Potter's help. Twenty-five years of peace and serenity. The Golden Trio thought that they were in the clear, safe and sound. They were dead wrong. While the community let their guard down, a new storm began brewing. It started brewing within the walls of a place so many of them called home. Hogwarts is no longer the safe playing ground these witches and wizards once knew. No, this place has become grounds for something bigger, something stronger than Lord Voldemeort.
When word got out that Voldemort might have a next of kin, worry began to hover over the community like a dark storm cloud. How could Voldemort possibly create another human being? Procreation? A potion or spell of sorts? Those were the questions buzzing around town and now, it buzzes toward a very unlikely Hogwarts Student.

A. The year on FI is 2022. Time in the real world is the time passed on this forum. For example, if one month passed in real time, then one month has passed on FI.
Q. Can I use a JKR last name for one of my characters?
A. Yes! We are a canon site, therefore, you have a large list of characters created by JKR to choose from. For plotting reasons, we have a Riddle placed into the mix.
Q. Do I have to read the rules?
A. Yes. Everyone here at FI must read the rules that we have posted. There are a few things you will need to look over in the rules prior to registering. If you do not wish to follow these rules, your account will be banned and deleted off this forum. You will receive three fair warnings before your account is banned.
