[rs=2] | Personal style/Appearance Allie prides herself in being 'unique'. She has her own unique personality as well as her personal style. But she doesn't try too hard at all. She's a very down to earth type of girl once you get to know her. She is girly in her own way. She likes to experiment with styles and her make-up/hair. She tends to keep her hair long and her natural dark brown hair, but she has dyed it before. Two years ago, her hair was short and blonde. Allie definitely looks like her dad with the darker hair and slightly quirky features. Her nose is a bit long and distinguished and her eyes change colors from a light brown to a darker brown, depending on what she's wearing/her mood/the weather... in which she pairs with a healthy dose of eye makeup... particularly eyeliner. Her clothing choices are a bit punkish. She loves band tees and ripped jeans when she isn't in her uniform. She finds a way to put in her geeky touch in everything she wears. She is a petite girl, standing at 5'4 and is naturally quite thin. Her skin color changes between seasons. In summer, she can be seen with a healthy glow but during the cold seasons she tends to be quite pale. On her feet, Allie usually wears black converses which she draws on when she gets bored. Now, to get to the tattoos...which she has three of and very much to her parents distaste but she loves and plans on getting more. She also has a nose ring. Personality There are many sides to Allie. For the most part, she is very down to earth and a happy person. She isn't too shy but also has days where she wants to be alone with her thoughts at times, particularly when she's being creative... which is quite often. She is very very creative in many ways... particularly with art (painting or sketching) and music (guitar, singing, song writing, piano/keyboard). It is one of the few times that she is truly focused... otherwise she tends to get bored easily and she really hates being bored. She loves nature and can often be seen outside by the lake or on the grounds. She doesn't like to be cooped up and isn't a big fan of most of her classes for that reason. Sitting still for so long and listening to someone ramble on is not her cup of tea, but she manages to deal with it. Or she'll just break out a marker and scribble on her notes/whatever she can find (her own shoes...hands). Allie often feels a bit out of place at school. She would much rather be out and adventuring somewhere awesome. She is a very tolerant person and doesn't understand prejudice people. She has a slight obsession with muggle entertainment. She loves the music and the movies... particularly old black and white movies. Another love of Allie's is reading comic books and she loves the ideas of super heroes. Of course, Allie loves being a witch and is very proud of where she came from. She is quite loyal and loves her family unconditionally. Allie is severely clumsy, terrible on a broomstick, and quite unorganized. her room or her part of the dormitories is always somewhat messy and you don't even want to look into her backpack cause there is no telling what is in there and how long its been there. History: Allison Phoenix Longbottom or 'Allie' for short was born as a twin to two loving parents known as Neville and Hannah Longbottom. She is the younger twin by only three minutes. And not long after, Allie and her brother were joined by more siblings. Allie has always been a very happy go lucky kind of person. She was always a bit tomboyish as a kid and preferred to run around with her brother and his friends instead of playing with dolls and tea sets. Her only stuffed animal that she actually liked was Mr. Bear, a tiny orange teddy bear that she still sleeps with. He has a tear on his right ear from her twin brother teasing her relentlessly and tearing it on purpose to make her mad when they were seven. During this incident, Allie decided that she would run away because she felt no one cared about her enough and she ran to the park with Mr. Bear. (She didn't know where else to go). During this run away, Allie met another kid named Patrick who she played with until her parents came and found her. The two became best friends instantly and Patrick is the friend that introduced her to the muggle world which she was fascinated with. He showed her comic books and they decided to make their own at one point which is where Allie discovered she had a talent for drawing. The two were completely inseparable until Allie was sent to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She thought that she would never see Patrick again and almost didn't want to go to Hogwarts at all. Allie was talked into going.... she went shopping with her parents to Diagon Alley and got her wand which is 11 inch Alder Wood with Phoenix Tailfeather. Yep, quite coincidentally her middle name which was not missed by her or her family members. She did eventually start to look forward to going to Hogwarts with the hopes she'd see her best friend soon. Little did she know that her best friend had also been accepted into Hogwarts. The one thing they never discussed was the fact Allie was a witch because she was always afraid to tell him and simply assumed he was a muggle because of his knowledge of all muggle things. Turns out, he was a muggleborn. So luckily the two best friends were not separated. Allie was happily put in Gryffindor and she found herself once again hanging out with mostly the boys of the school. When Allie was twelve, she started to play the piano and at fourteen, she taught herself to play the guitar. She's always been a smart girl but she's not the best student in the world. She always feels that she is too busy to do homework and procrastinates or gets it halfway done before something else comes along and catches her attention. And in class, Allie is always staring off into space or drawing unless the class is somewhat exciting. She is a big fan of Defense Against Dark Arts for the reason it keeps her moving and not as bored. During her later teenage years, Allie began to find her inner girl somewhat and started to wear make up and giving her clothes a more girlish flare while sticking to her signature nerdy/punkish style and has developed a slight tattoo collection which started when she was sixteen and now she has three tattoos plus a nose ring. She had her first boyfriend last year that lasted 6 months and then they broke up. During Hogwarts, Allie and Patrick have always been best friends, of course. Allie's dreams after Hogwarts are to go on as many adventures as possible. Travel the world, make art, play music, and to live life to the fullest. |
