[rs=2] | BEHIND THOSE BLUE EYES & RED HAIR;; SELF CENTERED AND SELF CONTROL Two things that could describe Xyla well. Although Xy could be the nicest person you have ever met, she loves to talk about herself. Sure, she will listen to what you have to say but she will always put her two cents in where it doesn't belong. She isn't very crude or cruel but some of her opinions do come across as such. Xyla has no self control. The minute she is in front of something bad she loses all sense of self. She loses all senses and becomes the life of the party. She is rarely angry of volatile until you bad mouth her. She has the hearing of a hawk and the eyes of a snake. She can see and hear anything that is going on behind her back. CREATIVE AND AMBITIOUS There has always been a creative side to Xyla, from photography to painting. From a very young age, her grandmother and grandfather would encourage her creativity by purchasing things for her. New cameras, canvases, make up. Anything she needed to create, they gave to her. From the age of eleven, Xyla has been selling her paintings and only three years after that, she became enthusiastic about make up. She has always wanted to become a make up artist. Not the kind you found on every day people, but the kind that you found on runways, in magazines and even in muggle movies. She wants to become a successful artist and she will have no problem doing so. Coming from money and a not so loving home, Xyla has always striven for the best. She has great ambitions and has the dedication and is strong willed enough to achieve them. NEVER BEEN KISSED Although Xy is a bit of a party girl, she is very wholesome. She is a virgin and has never even kissed a boy before. She was brought up in a home that if she kissed a boy before she was courted, there would be hell to pay. Xyla does find it rather sad that she has not yet kissed a boy, but she knows that the day will come. A boy will fall for her and wait until she is ready. That’s what she is hoping for. THUNDER STORMS AND BIG DOGS Xyla is deathly afraid of thunderstorms and big dogs. Her fear of thunderstorms stems from when she was a little girl. At around age seven, her parents brought the family camping at Katepwa Lake. It was a grand experience until their last night there. They hadn't realized that there was a tornado warning for the area. The thunder roared and the lighting flashed. It was a sight for anyone who enjoyed storms. For this little girl, it was the end of the world. She was so frightened, she ran out of her tent and into her parents tent. The winds got so violent that the tents were being blown away. Crying frantically, Xy wanted to go home, and so they left. Her fear of large dogs came a few years ago. She never had an issue with big dogs until this incident. She was walking home from the park one summer's day when a stray Doberman ran up to her from behind, biting her in the leg. She tried to fight the dog off, only making it more aggressive. Eventually, a passing vehicle stopped and helped the helpless teen. The person helped Xyla to the hospital where she received twenty stitches in her leg and several on her foot. DEAR PARENTS;; There never was much to say about Xyla's parents. They were there to make sure that she stayed out of trouble, but never bothered her outside of that. You could say that the young woman had a wonderful childhood, filled with love, a beautiful home and parents that loved each other dearly. That is what it looked like to the outside world. Xyla's parents were happy for the most part. They enjoyed each other's company but seemed a bit irritated with the fact that they had a child. Xyla was always well behaved and was never in anyone's way, but to her parents she was a nuisance. Her father would always be at work and her mother would always find an excuse to be out of the home until her husband had returned from his place of employment. This left Xyla with a nanny or a babysitter for the most part. When Xyla was accepted into Hogwarts, her parents celebrated like no other. They seemed pleased that their only daughter was going to be a witch, in reality, they were excited to get rid of her for most of the year. Xyla would only receive one letter a year, letting her know that when she was to return for the summer months, they would be gone on a wonderful trip in the southern islands. This was nothing new to her, of course. She took that opportunity to stay outdoors. Study and be one with the stars. Unfortunately, during her fourth year at Hogwarts, she had received her second letter of the year. It was quite strange for her, but as she read it she understood why. her mother had fallen gravely ill and was told that she would not make it through the summer months. After this devastating news, Xyla had to make sure that she was always there for her younger 'brothers'. They needed her through times like this. Of course, as the years passed, Xyla's mother's health kept declining. She was then admitted into St. Mungo's hospital. To this day, they still don't know what is wrong with her and frankly, Xyla could care less. DEAR HOGWARTS Xyla's Hogwarts career began at the tender age of eleven. She received her letter and was ever so excited to attend the school at which both of her parents graduated. In her eyes, at that age, they were everything she wanted to be. Her first few years at Hogwarts were a blessing for her. It was nice to know that she was sorted into her grandmother's house of Slytherin. Ravenclaw was a nice house to be in, the one for the more intellectually inclined. Xyla was alright with being in the house that people neglected. That way, she was able to show up anyone who thought of her as daft, shy and downright simple. As the young girl blossomed, Xyla became quite famous with her housemates. She was known for having many friends and few enemies. By the time she had reached her fifth year, she was already in a serious relationship with a couple of boys, earning her a certain reputation. She was the scandalous type back in those days and has regretted it ever since. To this day, comments of adultery among other things, has followed her around like a lost puppy. Now that she is in her seventh and final year, Xyla mostly concentrates on her studies and less on the male population. HOPES AND DREAMS AFTER HOGWARTS The young witch plans to have a bright future. She wishes to become a make up artist as well as an Auror. There is just something that appeals to her when it comes to hunting down bad guys and giving them a piece of her mind. In Xyla's mind, she will be able to juggle both career paths and have a happy and normal life. Children are not for seen in her future, however, the future can always change. |
