(( basic guidelines ))
[/blockquote][/blockquote]1) All professors must be above the age of 25 to teach a class at Hogwarts. Any years less and you will be deemed a Teacher's Aide until your character becomes of age. note: you will have your own sub-board for your class.
2) All professors must post a class syllabus.
What is a syllabus?
A syllabus is what a professor hands out to his or her students. It is handed out as a guideline for the year's class and what each student will be learning that year.
3)Professors have the right to create their own rules regarding their class, so long as they follow these guidelines and FI rules.
4) All professors must post a syllabus, a grade thread, an attendance thread as well as a homework/test or IC thread for the first class each month.
5) All students must attend classes in order to pass on to the next grade or graduate.
6) OWLs and NEWTs will be given at the end of each term for fifth and seventh year students. If you fail either of these tests, you will have to repeat your year.
7) All terms last six months in real time, and then we break two months for holidays.
8) All grades must be sent to both admins for House Point tally and passing/failing students.
9) Term 1 will begin July 31st, 2013. This gives all professors enough time to plan out their lessons for the next six months as well as get their first class posted.
10) Professors teaching a class, must post their first thread by August 7th, 2013. If your class has not been posted by then, you will be suspended and your account will be reviewed by an administrator. If you have left a message to an admin or have let one of us know you are leaving, we will postpone the class for you.
