I could see James teasing Xyla a lot because of her Slytherin status; however beyond that I could see them getting along very well. Both are intelligent seventeen year old and James like to annoy people at the best of times.

james & xyla - this could very well be an interesting friendship. i could certainly see james wanting to bug the heck out of xyla for being a slytherin and xyla trying to brush it off at the best of times. unlike most, she isn't too full of slytherin pride, but she is a feisty irish woman. perhaps we could thread them and see how their friendship would play out? i'm very intrigued with this!

Probably enemies? James sees the world in black and white, which means that if someone is a member of Slytherin then they are condemned to his undying hatred. :P He is oblivious to whatever good qualities they have, which can make him pretty annoying? I can see him annoying the crap out of her because he is so stubborn all the time :) Ideas?

James and Kiver
James was probably the kid that dozed off during ever single lesson, unless he was setting things of fire because the class was boring. He probably annoyed the crap out of him all the time. I could see Kiver throwing a party when James finally decided that he needed to pursue an Auror career, which meant that he wouldn't have to suffer any more classes with him as a student. What do you think? :)

James & Kiver I can see James Potter getting bored easily in the astronomy class with Kiver. James would think of the class as just one of those laid back classes that isn’t much of an importance. I think Xyla and Val could have interesting dealings. He could bring balance to her lack of self control. Teach her a few things. Though her dream of being an auror could cause a rift between if he ever knew. Val might try to convert her to the dark cause or one day tell her "the day you become one of them, is the day you are dead to me" but maybe secretly love her his while life the way Snape loved Lily. Random ideas in my head! So many possibilities!

xyla & trenton ; i could see trenton flirting with xyla a lot whenever he sees her, but her blowing him off. however, i think it'd be interesting if eventually they got together. trenton doesn't believe in sex without love because he's just that type of person, so it's not like the relationship would be about sex.

ivan & trenton ; these two are similar in that they're very loyal and courageous, as well as creative and smart. trenton likely would have been in ravenclaw if it weren't for his intense loyalty. he does flirt a lot so they could be wingmen for each other. maybe they'd be close, but that's up to you.

xyla & fiona - friends it is! plus, val will surely be their first topic of discussion!

kiver & fiona - honestly, i don't have too much for them either. co-workers and maybe he like, takes her out as friends and they get a little sippy? she can talk about nargles all she wants!

xyla & valyndiar - i really love the idea of the whole snape/lily secret love type of deal. this could always tie in with her future relationship with trenton, a gryffindor!

xyla & trenton - xyla would most likely end up falling for trenton in the end. their love for each other could almost be suffocating, neither of them wanting to be too far from each other. now, valyndiar is going to be in love with xyla, but xyla is in love with trenton, so perhaps a three way plot could be interesting for them?!

ivan & trenton - i really like this idea as well! i think that ivan needs some friends and he does need to get out more often. i think that having trenton around will help his game with the ladies, and if not, well they always have each other as friends!
