rules
Attendance: In order to achieve perfect attendance, you must reply to the lesson. The reply must be at least one paragraph in length. The paragraph must contain at least seven LEGITIMATE sentences. "Sue saw the teacher. Sue saw her writing on the board. Sue felt cold." Are NOT acceptable. If I see any of this, the student will be given one chance PER TERM to rewrite their attendance reply. The reply could be the student asking a question, or simply reacting to the lesson. Failing to reply properly or failing to reply at all will earn an absent. The deadline for a reply will be the same date as the homework due-date.
Homework: Homework shall be PMed to the Professor. Homework should be organized, and easy to read. The assignment MUST include character's first, middle and last name, the character's house and year, the alias of the account the roleplayer would like to receive their marks on, and the name of the roleplayer. The subject line shall be filled in as followed.
HC#- or MT or FNEX, LAST, first, year.
ex) HC#2, SCAMANDER, lysander, 5th
Homework shall be PMed to the Professor within the given dead-line. Late homework will be given a zero. NO second chances shall be given. If you KNOW you will be away and unable to complete the homework within the time, please message me at least ONE WEEK before the deadline, with a time you will return. If you fail to let me know if you're gone, then your homework shall be marked as incomplete. There will be NO RE-DO'S on homework. What you hand in, is your final work. Anyone caught cheating will receive an automatic zero.
Exams: The midterm and the Final will be a thread. The exams will consist of written questions regarding everything you may have learned before. You will see the questions, and answer them. Then you will roleplay through a potion-making scenario I may have created. Your reaction and performance will contribute to your final mark on the exam. I ask you to PM me the questions and scenario together, to avoid confusion. Like homework, the exams will have a dead-line.
