Rules as seen on the syllabus;
Attendance: In order to achieve perfect attendance, you must reply to the lesson. The reply must be at least one paragraph in length. The paragraph must contain at least seven LEGITIMATE sentences. "Sue saw the teacher. Sue saw her writing on the board. Sue felt cold." Are NOT acceptable. If I see any of this, the student will be given one chance PER TERM to rewrite their attendance reply. The reply could be the student asking a question, or simply reacting to the lesson. Failing to reply properly or failing to reply at all will earn an absent. The deadline for a reply will be the same date as the homework due-date.
