[style=font-family: times; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: lowercase; color: #989898; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;] 318 WORDS FOR JAMES Fitzroylet the fun begin!! DREAM [/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] [style=padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; height: 475px; overflow: auto; color: #1e1e1e;] The first day back for James was something that he wasn’t expecting; the teachers had thrown a lot of work at the seventh years however you wouldn’t find him doing homework on the first night back. It was well after the huge feast and James found himself back in the Gryffindor common room. Over the years the common room hadn’t changed very often but that wasn’t worrying James tonight no it was surviving this year but he would cross that bridge when it happened to him after all he had better things to think about right about now.
Yawning James stretched out on a couch he was laying on; he was next to the rather large fire that was burning bright in the fireplace and it felt warm to him; he was glad to be back here at Hogwarts he always loved the huge castle that he could discover her many different entrances after discovering the marauders map; he would have to check that map out later tonight just for fun. James grinned at that very thought as he continued to lay on the couch. James looked around he could see other people talking in their own groups but this didn’t bother him at all.
James took out his wand and bewitched a piece of paper to transform into a paper plane. Lifting the paper plane James made it dash towards people making them think that the plane was about to hit them bit it would turn at the last moment. This small paper plane amused James but he couldn’t wait till he could explore the castle walls. James laughed as a couple of first years dived onto the floor as the paper plane zoomed towards them; they hadn’t realized who was controlling the paper plane yet but he would guess that people would soon start to realize who it was not that it didn’t matter to him. And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are Arriving back in Hogwarts after each summer was always the best part in James¢ life. Thankfully, this time he had managed to avoid his mother¢s hugs and tears and had boarded the train with just a goodbye. There were times when he wished that his mother wouldn¢t make him feel so embarrassed but he knew that this was the curse of being an only child. So, he had boarded the train, ate in the feast, clapped with other Gryffindors for those who had entered their house this year and now was heading back to the common room. Nothing had changed concerning the castle, thus James would have to focus on actually graduating with flying colors in order to make his dream come true.
Others might have been fine with just graduating and opening a shop, but James had always aimed high. He had always desired to become an auror, and this time he found himself closer to fulfilling his dream than ever before. All he had to do was ace the exams and actually graduate. This prospect seemed fairly easy to the young Gryffindor, but to do that he would have to escape the annoying first years that were bugging him tonight. Their questions had always made him laugh, or even annoyed at some point or another, but tonight it seemed that the only reason the first years were there was only to annoy him. He should have realized that this was not going to be his day when a female first year had asked him if he was using any magical product on his hair. Seriously, he couldn¢t have been that annoying as a first year. Could he?
Showing the first years the way to the common room from the fifth floor, he vanished seconds later to escape them and their questions. Honestly, all he needed tonight was some peace and quiet and the first years were obviously not going to give it to him. So, waiting a few minutes and hiding in the shadows of the fifth floor, he followed the shortcut to the common room, thankful that the first years had vanished. Making his way to the portrait, he spoke the password and climbed inside the common room which was full of life. No surprise there. His blue eyes fixed themselves on the bunch of first years from before who were chasing a paper plane. He made a face and his eyes fell on his good friend James. No surprise there, either. Making his way towards him, he removed his wand from his pocket and flicked it twice, the flames in the fireplace transforming into a lion for a second and then assuming their previous state.
He had always been gifted with fire magic, he had managed to make the flames of the fireplace transform according to his will during his third year. The first years glanced at the flames for a second with awe and then turned to the paper plane again. James sat at the armchair close to James and smirked widely. ”It seems we¢ve got the most annoying batch this year.” he joked, chuckling. ”Have they asked you which magical product you use for your hair yet or not?” he added and turned around to point at the girl who had asked him before. ”Blonde¢s really not her color, don¢t you think? What about red?” he said, a mischievous look on his face.
This was going to be just another year of mischief already, it seemed. Hope it¢s good!

[style=font-family: times; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: lowercase; color: #989898; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;] 327 WORDS FOR JAMES Fitzroylet the fun begin!! DREAM [/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] [style=padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; height: 475px; overflow: auto; color: #1e1e1e;]James continued to grin as he watched his bewitched paper plane fly over the heads of first years before it knocked over an ink bottle all over a piece of parchment. This amused James the most only because he loved to cause utter chaos and he didn’t surprise the teachers at the feast by causing some prank like he did last year. That prank got him a month’s worth of detention and a scolding from his parent’s but it was so worth it in the end. James guided the paper plane towards the couch and watched it come in for a landing before stopping; he loved magic so much.
James’s eyes glanced over towards the fireplace as it was transformed into a lion; he grinned as he could only guess one person that he knew would do that; his best friend who were also named James. James couldn’t the number of times he and his friend caused chaos and getting everyone annoyed it was just the way they were together. James laughed at James’s word’s about the first years; every year they seemed to get worst and worst though he was glad that this was their last year at this place not that James didn’t like Hogwarts he just wanted to do something better with his life.
James shook his head in laughter for a moment before replying back to his friend. “Nope guess they are only attracted to you my friend. Though I did tell the first years that the password to the common room had changed.” James grinned at that thought of the first years trying to get back into the common room with the wrong password. James looked at where James was pointing to and spotted the blonde girl; he smiled and nodded. “Actually she would look good as a redhead rather than a blonde. Care to do the honors mate?” James added as he waited to see what James was going to do. [/style] |

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are The welcoming feast had been rather boring this year. James had actually expected a prank from his best friend, but it never came. Thus, he had spent his evening stuffing his mouth with all kinds of food. Thankfully, no one had realized that he had managed to smuggle certain bottles of firewhiskey, now safely inside his trunk. A drink right before bed wouldn¢t hurt, and quite honestly, James needed to put his mind at ease. The first years had annoyed him too much with their questions and various shenanigans. He could already feel his stomach growling again, but that was obviously because he needed to consume more food in order to keep up his rather impressive, for his age, physique. Oh, the curse of wanting to be a well built individual.
It came as a surprise to James to witness James Potter in the common room at this hour. Truth be told, he had expected his close friend to be outside, playing a prank or trying to woo female students. Perhaps James was growing up along with him, but he didn¢t want to think about that right now. Growing up meant that he would have to let go of Hogwarts, his home away from home for all those years, and the thought pained him greatly. But, they had one more year here, and he¢d rather be cursed than actually spend the year thinking about growing up and leaving inside his common room rather than seizing the bull by the horns and having fun. James chuckled at his friend¢s words. ”I can¢t wait for their reaction. If they find the common room, most of them will get lost inside these walls by tomorrow, mark my words.” he said, smirking mischievously at James¢ words. He cleared his throat and pointed his want at the blonde first year, ducking behind the arm chair a little bit to provide himself with some necessary cover.
The color change charm was easy. Though he didn¢t claim to be a master at charms, he was certainly experienced, much more than Transfiguration. Thankfully, the color change spell was a charm, otherwise the girl would have probably ended with purple hair, a broken nose and probably deaf. Whispering the incantation, he watched as the girl¢s hair turned from blonde to fire red in a matter of seconds. He put his wand safely inside his pocket and rose from the chair, pointing at her, a fake expression of concern on his face as the first years circled the girl in awe. ”Oh no!” he cried. ”What did you do?” he added, his voice filled with mock concern and fear as the girl was on the verge of tears.
He turned to James and scratched his chin. ”Seems to me like this girl is already part of the Gryffindor house, wouldn¢t you think Mr. Potter?” he said, loudly enough for the whole room to hear. ”Godric Gryffindor must have changed the color of her hair because she is truly a member that will be known across the ages!” he said, and laughed as the girl smiled shyly. ”Welcome to Gryffindor!” he added as he looked at the first years. ”Next one is yours.” he whispered to James, as he sat down and sighed. . Hope it¢s good!

[style=font-family: times; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: lowercase; color: #989898; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;] 382 WORDS FOR JAMES Fitzroylet the fun begin!! DREAM [/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] [style=padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; height: 475px; overflow: auto; color: #1e1e1e;]James watched with great interest as his friend went to work changing the color of the girl’s hair. James grinned as he heard James’s response to his earlier prank on the first years. “They will probably be sleeping outside tonight unless someone takes pity on them and lets them in; however I’ll be sleeping with a grin on my face hoping to trip over them in the morning which won’t be a pleasant sight, for them anyway.” James explained as he laughed about that very thought and he hoped that he could at least find some first years sleeping next to the fat lady painting so he could hex them just for fun. That would be a good way to start the morning off.
James pushed these thoughts to the back of his mind for now he wanted to watch his friend change this girl’s hair color. James continued to look on as his friend ducked behind the arm chair and the proceed with incantation of the hair color change spell. James was impressed as the girl’s hair was changed from blonde to a redhead within seconds and it didn’t leave any side effects which was good in the long run; the girl would simply have to find the spell to change her hair back or go to the hospital wing. James tried very hard not to laugh as his friend put the fake expression on his face and the first year’s gathered around the girl.
James stood up from the couch and looked back at the girl for a moment before turning to his friend. “Yes Mr Fitzroy it seems that this girl has been deemed worthy by Godric Gryffindor himself. His spirit has given you good luck for this entire year. May you use this good luck well young Gryffindor or suffer whatever consequences he deems suitable.” James replied back bowing at the girl. James grinned at the words his friend whispered. Muttering the incantation to another girl he changed the girl’s color to white without anyone noticing at all. “This isn’t good at all is it Mr Fitzroy. Godric Gryffindor must have blessed this girl with bad luck.” James had changed his expression to pure concern though he was merely waiting to see what his friend would say next. [/style] |

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are He chuckled at his friend¢s words. ”I¢m pretty sure someone will let them in. It¢s not like us to leave someone outside for the rest of the night.” he said, referring to the values of the Gryffindor house. In his six years inside the castle, he had found out that people played pranks in many different ways. He mostly played pranks to have fun and cause other people to smile as well, while Slytherins usually played mean pranks with the intent of hurting the feelings of certain individuals. Ravenclaws played smart pranks while Hufflepuffs… Well, he didn¢t even know if they knew what a prank was.
As mentioned above, James played pranks to make other people smile more than himself. He would never do something extremely mean, unless the person concerned was a Slytherin. Thus, when the first year was on the verge of tears, he quickly tried to change the subject in order to make her feel better. That was where the other James was supposed to chime in, and the first years seemed to widen their eyes at the mention of James¢ surname. Well, being a Potter always had its perks. Not once had he been jealous of James¢ heritage. He had never enjoyed being the center of attention, and he rather enjoyed being the back wheel in some of James¢ shenanigans. James Potter could have all the glory. All James Fitzroy wanted was a smile and friends.
James pranked the next girl, mentioning that Godric Gryffindor had cursed her with good luck. The girl took a few steps back and touched her hair, almost smiling and then realizing what James had said. Her eyes seemed to water, her lip trembled. ”Indeed, Mr Potter, so it seems.” James said and rose from his spot, hiding his wand behind his back as he approached the girl. ”However….” he muttered, towering over the little girl that was about to burst in tears. He swiftly moved his wand behind her back and her hair began to turn slightly red. ”Being a Gryffindor means that against all odds we remain true and brave. Never despair in the face of danger, because the spirit of Godric Gryffindor will always be with you.” he said at the girl whose hair was turning red and winked at her. ”Now to bed with all of you, otherwise Professor Wyatt will send all of us to the Forbidden Forest!” he joked and turned back to James as the first years charged to their respective staircases. ”Be back in a second, I have a surprise.” he said and disappeared in the stairs, moving to his new dorm.
He opened the door and waved his wand, opening his trunk and summoning a bottle of fire whiskey and two glasses to him. He caught them with one hand and closed his trunk, moving back down the common room soon afterwards. ”Suuurprise!” he said to James, showing him the bottle and the glasses before sitting down next to him and setting the glasses and the bottle on a table.
”So, what does the future hold for James Potter?” he asked, opening the bottle and pouring some firewhiskey in both glasses.
Hope it¢s good!

[style=font-family: times; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: lowercase; color: #989898; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;] 454 WORDS FOR JAMES Fitzroylet the fun begin!! DREAM [/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] [style=padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; height: 475px; overflow: auto; color: #1e1e1e;]James listened to his friend's words and smiled; it was just like Gryffindor’s to do just that they needed to act like the noble house they were and then try and ruin Slytherin’s even more. James has been causing chaos for the Slytherin’s for years with his best friend at his side though there had been times where they had been caught by a professor and sent to detention but those were considered draw backs. In his final year James were planning to flood all the bathrooms at once at around lunch time just to make matters worse but he needed to work some things out still.
James tried his hardest to go unnoticed by his surname but with each passing year it seemed that Potter had become famous and famous. Nearly every school year James had the many questions of what’s it like to be the son of Harry Potter or could he get his father’s autograph or his favourite one how did Harry Potter defeat the dark lord. Weren’t their parent’s at that last battle? How would James know? These questions and more frustrated James as he tried to make his mark without getting there with help. The last thing he wanted was to something to think that he got somewhere with the help of who he knew or family connections.
James grinned at his friends words as he told everyone to go to bed; being a seventh year did have its perks to the younger years it meant that they did have a little bit of authority around them. Well they like to believe that was the case. James had to laugh at the mention of Professor Wyatt the head of house for Gryffindor and the DADA teacher. “That man has the hearing of a hawk. He had me cleaning the entire seventh floor after putting bubble gum in a girl’s hair once.” James replied back laughing. James nodded to his friend and waited for his return. When James came back James was surprised at the fire whiskey. “Mate! I’m impressed how’d you managed to smuggle this into the dorms?” James asked.
“That’s a good question. Great Auror or the best Quidditch player England has seen like in forever.” James grinned. “So still trying to make Auror?” James asked knowing that’s what his friend wanted to do. James grabbed hold of a glass and took a sip of the liquid. “This is good. Did you managed to only sneak in one bottle or a few?” James asked with interest though they probably didn’t want to end up drunk on the first night back at Hogwarts. James didn’t want his father up here though his mother was worse she could yell louder. [/style] |

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are James knew of the kind of pressure James Potter was under for the most part of his life. Well, he didn¢t exactly know, but he could imagine. Even he found it hard at times to live up to his father¢s name, and that was saying a lot seeing as his family wasn¢t a famous pureblood one. James didn¢t even want to imagine being in James¢ shoes for not even a month, especially since he rather liked going unnoticed. He proudly believed that he was a knight in shining armor type of guy, but nevertheless, nothing gave him more joy than actually hearing a thank you whenever he didn¢t exactly announce the fact that he had helped.
He laughed at James words, as the first years were climbing the staircases to their respective dorms, purposefully speaking loud enough for them to hear. ”Let us not forget that time he caught a student out of bed. Haven¢t really seen that poor fellow ever since, have you Mr. Potter? How long has it been now, five or six years?” he joked, as the first years turned around with wide eyes. Bossing around people wasn¢t really his cup of tea, but right now, James could do with a nice drink and some well deserved peace and quiet. So, he ordered the first years around, while vanishing to get the firewhiskey bottle he had managed to smuggle inside. He smirked widely when he heard James¢ words once he had reappeared and shrugged casually, as if it hadn¢t been a big deal. ”Mom keeps transforming the bottles into socks in hopes that my dad won¢t find them. Old man got drunk one night and this is his punishment. But, I managed to catch her transforming them, didn¢t say anything about it and here we are.” he said and winked. ”Thankfully, the enchantment must have worn off by the time the suitcase reached the common room, otherwise I¢d have a lot of socks that I wouldn¢t be able to transfigure back to normal.” he added with a chuckle. He really didn¢t stand a chance with transfiguration.
He sat down and finally managed to relax. The ride back to Hogwarts had been uneventful, but James had never really liked trains. They always managed to make him feel sick for a few hours. He grabbed his glass and took a sip of Fire whiskey. Merlin, that was good. He felt his entire body on fire again, as if he had just woken up and was ready to greet a new day. James¢ words puzzled him though. It was common knowledge, at least to him, that James Potter didn¢t really know what to do with his future career. ”If I were you, I¢d be deciding pretty soon, mate.” he said, casually. Then, his expression turned to a serious one. ”You have talents, James, use them for good, not just because you want people to cheer your name whenever you win a Quidditch match.” he said, though his tone was teasing. ”We aren¢t children anymore. Sucks, but what are we going to do.” He sighed and nodded at the mention of his future career. ”I hope. I¢m pretty much screwed because Transfiguration and Herbology are getting extremely hard this year. Probably going to force Elli to help me once again.” he said, a smile appearing on his lips at the mention of her name. ”Five or six, I guess. Didn¢t really count.” he responded, and took another sip before he extended his glass for James.
”To Godric Gryffindor.”
Hope it¢s good!
