Maybe this whole thing would've been a lot easier if Frasy had simply asked dear Mr Lupin if he could hide out in his house for a bit because he seemed like he'd cause no trouble at all. That lacked excitement. The wizard found himself bored by the mere thought of going about things in that way. No - he'd chosen a difficult, enjoyable approach, although it was perhaps just a tad over-dramatic. That was Fraser Lestrange all over though, wasn't it?
What he'd done was stalk the metamorphmagus home, hide out in his house until he found a convenient time to strike (which took, hmm, no longer than twenty minutes, if he remembered correctly). Then, kaboosh! Teddy-Bear was knocked out. Fraser felt the slightest bit rude for intruding on the younger man like this, especially since the two of them had only spoken briefly a couple of times at work, but it was ultimately for the greater good. That meant Fraser's greater good.
Teddy was tied up with magical ropes to an armchair in his living room. Fraser had the red-head's wand and was sat opposite from him, on the sofa. He'd wake up soon, the Lestrange was sure of it.

Teddy slowly rose up out of unconciousness. It was almost as if he'd been held underwater for a long time, or if he'd been asleep for approximately a year; nothing had come into focus yet. All of his senses were fuzzy, and it was difficult at first to work out where he was - although once he noticed the horrible armchair he was tied to, he could easily distinguish this room as his own. God, why on earth was he tied to his chair? Apparently, it was too much to ask for them to tie him to a nice-looking piece of furniture, either - nope, he had to be tied to the one chair in his entire home that had nearly fallen apart.
Lifting his head up slowly - he was still feeling extremely sluggish - Teddy tried to recall the events from the hour or so before. All he could remember was hurrying home, since he hated being outside at any time (it was dangerous in the outside world, okay?) and putting the kettle on to make himself a cup of tea - then his memory stopped, so he presumed that was when he was... knocked out. It was only then that the fear that he hadn't previously felt now bubbled up from out of nowhere, intense - it was incredibly likely that the individual who'd committed the act was still in the house, and who knew what they had up their sleeve for him next? The wave of fear was quickly followed by frustration: there was absolutely nothing he could do in this position that would benefit him. Furrowing his brow, the metamorphagus struggled against his bonds: as the world around finally came back into focus, he froze.
He hadn't noticed before, but sat right across from him was ...well, it was Fraser. Wait... Fraser? Teddy had actually spoken to this guy a couple of times at work, and he always seemed nice enough - at least, was relatively pleasant considering the state the majority of his relations were rumoured to be in. The inital surprise that he had felt was taken over by a sort of almost-reluctant acceptance; it made sense, really, that it'd be Fraser that had done something like this. After all, what else could be expected from a member of the Lestrange family? There was slight anger in the way Ted looked at the other man - after all, it was a woman with the same surname who had killed his mother - but the prevalent, more evident emotion there was fear. And who could blame him for being scared? The entire family were bound to be insane! Hoping and praying that the other man didn't pay close attention to his expression, he muttered a single sentence, which he left to hover in the air. "F-fancy seeing you here, huh?"

Bored now that he'd run out of things to do, Fraser held his wand in one hand and Teddy's in the other, then tapped them against his thighs like drumsticks while gazing around the room. He didn't spot anything of much interest. The decorating and furniture placement seemed to have been done pretty carelessly. He'd have to sort some of it out while he stayed here. Fraser was certain that his mother would have a fit if she had to cope with living in this place.
From the corner of his eye, he spotted the tiniest of movements. Aha! Mr Lupin was finally awake! He smiled at his groggy-looking victim and placed their wands down on the sofa again, resting his hands in his lap. His boots tapped against the floor continuously. Fraser was in a fidgety mood. Who could blame him? This was exciting! He felt like going over to Ted and petting him. Honestly, he was identical to a sleepy kitten that had just been woken up. But... it was perhaps a little angry? Yes. Or more than a little angry, judging by it's facial expression.
The wizard chuckled. Aw, okay, Teddy-Bear wasn't going to shout at him. He was being good. That's what Fraser wanted. "I know, it's quite an interesting coincidence to bump into you like this, don't you think?" His voice was peculiarly perky, matching the shiny grin on his face. This was too much fun! Fraser leaned forward in his seat, his eyes never straying from Teddy.

It had to be said that Teddy's initial opinions of Mr Lestrange were seeming to be rather accurate. It didn't appear like he really cared about how this felt for the person in the other position; did he even care at all? It was doubtful, because here he was, making himself comfortable and laughing at the other individual's awkwardness. Lestrange by name, Lestrange by nature, it seemed. Nevertheless, Ted carefully watched the other guy out of the corner of his eye. Fraser seemed to full of life, and was almost... happy. Disgusted by the grin on the obliviatior's face, he turned his head away. "Yeah, what a coincidence." The voice of the metamorphagus was emotionless. It wouldn't have been wise to show off the anger residing in his consciousness, but that didn't mean that he had to use the fear hiding there either.
The question that Teddy really wanted to ask was on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn't just go out and ask it. Are you going to kill me? Even at this point, he was able to work out that would be unlikely - if Fraser had had murder on his mind, then he surely would have committed the act already. Even so, it simply wouldn't have done to put the idea in the other man's mind. His life might not have been that great at the moment, but Teddy still rather enjoyed living it, thank you very much.
Being able to feel Fraser's eyes on him still, Ted rotated his head once more to look him right in the eye. He was horrified by the joy that he found there, but refused to show it, instead choosing to keep his expression as dull as his voice sounded. "So, what do you want with me?" There were so many different potential answers for that question that the young man wasn't sure he really wanted to hear the reply he would later receive. Tensing, he tried again to twist his way out of the ropes fixing him to the chair, but they were affixed using magic: there didn't appear to be any way to move them. He slumped back in the chair as much as he could; there wasn't going to be a way out of this one, was there?

Someone was far from being a happy-chappy now. Poor Teddy, unable to see the bright sides to this situation. He had the joyful company of a devilishly handsome young man to celebrate. Fraser wasn't going to kill him, not unless he did anything worthy of that punishment. The one thing he needed was a safe, inconspicuous place to stay which just so happened to be the home of Ted Lupin. Teddy-Toodles himself had gone from being kitten-like to something resembling more of a kitten-robot, allergic to all emotion. He had to be scared, but he wasn't showing it. Fraser was impressed.
There was an air of suspense lingering in the room. Teddy didn't know what was going no, of course he didn't. It was natural to be curious about it. Fraser supposed he'd go ahead and tell him the truth, although a part of him wanted to see how long he could leave Teddy like this; trying to work out what was going to happen to him. Fraser quirked an eyebrow. "I'm glad you asked!" he exclaimed, clasping his hands together. "Your house is what I want. Not permanently, and not all of it. You see, I'm desperately in need of a place to stay for a bit."
The man was struggling against his bindings. It was useless but not a good thing. Fraser shook his head, tutting. "Nuh-uh-uh, Teddy-Bear. You sit still, m'kay? Be a good boy." Fraser commanded teasingly.

It was common knowledge to Teddy that he was extremely far away from being intimidating, and was even less so when tied to an armchair. Therefore, it surprised him more than a little when he was actually given a fairly sane reply - although there words were delivered in what was probably the most insane way possible. Despite the fact that his response was perfectly understandable - and didn't involve any death, thank God - it still riled Ted somewhat. Honestly, this man was a Lestrange, of all the families he could have been, and he was basically housejacking someone else's home. What, could he not afford one of his own? "I'm not agreeing to that." The metamorphmagus practically spat the words, but there was a surprising lack of feeling behind them; Teddy was all too aware that if he didn't do what he was told like a good little halfblood that he would be extremely likely to have his life cut short. Yet again, that wasn't exactly something that he was hoping for (however, he was starting to think that death would be less of a punishment than having to live with this guy no matter how short a time period it would be for).
Good boy. There were very few things that Ted found more infuriating than those two words, for it was was like a secondary name for him during his education: all because he completed his work with time to spare. Teddy the Good Boy was a name he had really hoped that he'd never have to hear again, and something inside him just... snapped. Screw holding in his feelings - he'd just have to deal with the consequences. Glaring at the man sat across from him, he pulled on his bindings some more - not so much because he thought that it would actually make a difference, more just so that he was able to prove that he was able to. "Don't you dare tell me what to do, Fraser."The natural snarl that accompanied the phrase bit the air; needless to say, there was more anger in this phrase than the one he had uttered previously. By this point, Teddy knew that he was pushing it - but in truth, he was just curious about how far the other guy could be pushed before he snapped. And if it didn't work out too well for him and he ended up being killed or something along those lines - well, it wasn't honestly like anyone was around to even care that he'd gone.

Fraser thought that Teddy would've been smart enough not to argue over this. He wasn't being a good boy anymore. Having any sort of disagreement with Fraser was definitely a no-no. His smile faded into a cold smirk. He pocketed Teddy's wand and picked up his own, getting to his feet and taking small steps towards his captive. Teddy was glaring, struggling, snarling. Fraser didn't know he had it in him. He put his free hand on his chest and painted an expression of fear on his face. "Mr Lupin, I'm starting to get frightened. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to ask you to calm down." His tone was mocking and patronising, as if he was talking to small child. He wasn't scared at all. Frasy had the upperhand here.
The obliviator stopped directly in front of the armchair Ted was tied to. "Teddy, sweetheart. Don't mess me about." Fraser's voice became colder and his gaze was unwavering as he stared at the metamorphmagus. He leant towards him and cupped Teddy's cheek in his hand while the tip of his wand dug into his neck. "Let me stay and nobody has to get hurt." His words were softer but he made sure Teddy knew this was his final warning before things got nasty.

Even mere seconds after his outburst, Ted was starting to regret saying anything at all. It most definitely wasn't going to help the situation in the slightest, and as he did still want to survive this encounter, it really hadn't been that smart of a move on his part. Clenching his hands into fists, the metamorphmagus stared at the floor while listening intently to what the obliviator had to say. The sarcasm was evident in Fraser's tone; Teddy didn't need to see the other man's face in order to ascertain that he was being patronised. While he could still feel the anger bubbling away in his gut, he decided that it would be far better not to show it again. He should have done that from the start, really.
Due to the silence that passed as neither of them spoke, Teddy could clearly hear the steps of the elder man as he drew ever closer. Looking away from Fraser's face as his own was scrutinised, flinching at the contact. His entire body tense, he hardly felt the wand point dig into the soft flesh of his neck: nevertheless, he knew it was there, and he knew he had to be extremely tentative about how he reacted to anything. And while he couldn't see the other man's stare, he could feel it burrowing into his skin - despite that, he still refused to look at him. No, he wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of discovering how much fear led in them, nor would it be wise to allow him to see the anger that still resided there either. Removing his head from Lestrange's cold palm, Teddy turned his head toward the floor once more. "Yeah. Sure. Whatever. Stay if you really want to." His words were soft, but held a lot of meaning: You've got what you want. Don't hurt me. Honestly, the young man was disgusted in himself for giving up so easily - no true Gryffindor would have given up such a battle without a fight. Well... sometimes, cowardice is the way to go, and it seemed that this was one of those times.

"Somebody's a little tense." Fraser whispered, leaning forward to speak directly into the metamorphmagus' ear. It made him feel a lot more in control of the situation to see how Teddy's body had stiffened up, his only movement was how he'd flinched. The obliviator was almost sure that he'd get the answer he needed now. Nobody would be stupid enough to resist while forced to remain in such a weak, dangerous position. Still, he wanted Ted to look at him; he wanted to see the fear in those pretty, hazel eyes. Ignoring his selfish wants, he let the man move his head away but remained close. Teddy had agreed to let him stay - that was one less thing to deal with. Fraser smiled and ducked forwards again to peck his new housemate on the cheek. "You're an angel, Mr Lupin." Fraser wanted to hang around here longer and perhaps torment Teddy too but, no, he was feeling nice. And he needed to take a proper look around his new home.
The elder wizard stood up put away his wand. His gaze swept over the redhead again, and a surge of pride and something else (Happiness?) swam around his head. Another job well done. Fraser smirked, turned away and headed on upstairs to see if he could find anything of interest without uttering another word. For a moment he thought about untying Teddy but didn't see what the hurry was. He'd do it later.

It was all too obvious that Teddy had absolutely no control over the situation he was in now. The one thing he had even slight power over was the movement of his head, and it was blatant that even that could easily be altered, should Fraser have wished it. In fact, there he was now, flouncing around like he owned the place (which he didn't; someone should remind him of that fact), understanding perfectly clearly that he could do whatever the hell he liked since no-one was around to stop him. As if to prove that, the bastard felt the need to keep his face close to Ted's: the young man was rather sure Fraser was simply trying to rile him, but he wasn't deserving of a response. Instead, he ignored the jibe and clenched his jaw, the only reaction he gave at all.
It had been his hope that without a response, he'd be left alone for a while - but it didn't appear like the elder man had any plans on leaving just yet. In fact, just the opposite: he'd apparently decided that it was necessary to kiss him on the cheek. Teddy cursed himself inwardly as his cheeks reddened (not from embarrassment or shyness, but from anger), and hoped that it wasn't too noticeable. Focusing on trying not to respond in any other way, it became obvious over a short period of time that Fraser had finally decided to retreat for a while. As soon as the office worker could ascertain that his 'exciting new housemate' had in fact decided to leave him for a while, he turned his head and glared at his retreating back, hoping that looks could actually, secretly kill. "An angel, huh?" His tone was quiet, so he could be certain that he hadn't been heard - even so, he questioned whether or not it had really been necessary to say anything at all, since he wouldn't have put it past Fraser to have extremely sensitive hearing or something.
It wasn't until a few moments later that it occurred to Teddy he was still tied to his horrifying armchair. Well, crap: that was just fabulous.

Fraser felt increasingly proud of himself. He'd made a boy blush - he found that rather amusing, but wasn't sure why. The wizard peeked in the couple of small rooms upstairs. While they weren't of the sort of quality he was used to, they had a nice cosy, homely feeling to them. He thought that, hey, he liked that. This place wasn't so bad, even if his family were likely to disapprove. They didn't matter. He was an adult and he made his own decisions, however risky and dumb they often turned out to be. He stuck his tongue out at his reflection in the bathroom mirror to distract him from his pointless thoughts. Fraser almost laughed at himself. It had been a childish thing to do after all but he was hardly the most mature of people; not in most senses.
"I'm hungry." he muttered quietly, patting his stomach. The pureblood stood still and frowned for a few moments, thinking up what would be the best solution to this newly-arisen issue. There had to be a pizza place nearby, he could go and get one for him and Teddy. That was such a gentlemanly thing to do too! Then, after he'd eaten, maybe he'd untie the other wizard and see how things went. He wasn't sure whether Teddy would need to be permanently restrained or not at the moment. Whatever, he didn't care about that right now. Fraser cared about pizza. He had some muggle money on him, since it came in useful during times like this. He dreaded to think what his mother would say about him purchasing muggle food. Too bad it was none of her concern. Pizza tasted pretty damn good, therefore he couldn't see what the problem with his culinary choice was.
With far too much energy, Fraser slid down the bannister of the staircase, jumping off the edge and landing safely on two feet. He recalled being punished rather harshly the times he'd been caught doing that at home while he was younger. The wizard smirked, joyous that there was nobody to punish him now. That wasn't how things went anymore. He was no longer the victim, he was the perpetrator. So, a beam on his face, he strolled merrily past Teddy and towards the front door. "I'm going out. Don't wait up for me." He winked and blew a kiss at the other man, then he was out of the door, closing it with more force than strictly necessary. It was mid-evening, beginning to get dark but not by much. Finding a pizza place didn't take long. In fact, waiting for the pizza to cook took longer. Without making a fuss, Fraser paid up and then took the greasy cardboard box containing his dinner and marched on back to his house. He'd been gone for around an hour, not too long.
"Honey, I'm home~"
