Fifty years have gone by since the final days of the Second Wizarding War. Harry Potter, a now retired Auror is in his sixties along with his wife Ginny Potter and his two best friends Ron and Hermione Weasley. Having raised their own children from babies to impressionable men and women, the group now watches over their opinionated and rowdy teenage grandchildren with slight amusement. Life in the once chaotic wizarding world was now peaceful and quiet. But alas, this calmness would not remain.
At the turn of a new decade, the Ministry of Magic has not fully recovered from the destruction handed down upon them by Lord Voldemort and his followers despite the flourishing of new businesses and magical concepts. Despite all that Kingsley had done as the Minister of Magic, the Ministry was still very much behind the eight ball in the ways of the new magical generation. Even with the newly elected Minister of Magic who had been a classmate of the Trio's own children, the Ministry was in shambles. If the Ministry overall was not a problem for many to acknowledge, then very few had the knowledge of what was conspiring behind closed doors.
Five families; each deeply rooted for generations in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs would surely give the entire Wizarding World something to ponder about. For it was the ideals of these families that would strike down upon the entire Ministry of Magic at its weakest points. And once again force the Wizarding World into a state of chaos.
And what of students at Hogwarts? Despite the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor, there is now a sense of unification and friendship that was not there before. The new generation of witches and wizards removing their parents' and grandparents' stereotypes of their peers' houses. Should the lack of the Ministry of Magic's intelligence and systems leave the students of Hogwarts defenseless? Especially after allowing several transfer/home-schooled students into the walls of the castle.
